Fast Profile Study

Freehand from a photograph.  No sketch to work from, just dived right in with paint.  One layer, no tricks.  

Trying to produce something in less than an hour every day with minimal preparation.  On this I was working on getting in all the colors hinted at in the photo, and not getting bogged down spending 30 hours attempting to make it perfect.

I usually use one hard round brush and vary the opacity, I think I might try flow control next time.
